7th Arab Technology Business Plan Competition
Phase 1
Executive Summary Requirement and Deliverables

The following four documents must be submitted as one package before 23^rd July, 2011

Note: Submission should follow all the coming rules without exceptions in order to avoid discarding.

Team rules:

1. Team should be not less than 2 persons and not more than 5 persons.
2. Team should assign just one coordinator responsible for any contact with the competition organizing committee, and it will be by mail but the reply will be to all the team.

Needed Documents:

1. Executive Summary: executive summary must be limited to 2 pages of text.
2. Financial Summary: 1 page financial summary data which Include how much money is required, how it will be used, and the proposed structure of the deal, i.e., stock, debentures, etc.  You should use separated Excel sheets for financial data.
3. Resume Booklet: One team resume booklet, wherein each individual’s resume should not exceed 1 page in length.
4. One-Page Summary for Program Book and Media Campaign: We are asking each team to submit a one-page summary outlining your business plan where half the page is showing this summary in English and the other half showing the summary in Arabic. This one-page summary will not be used by the Judging panel, but will be provided to media and other representatives .The level of technical detail should be suitable for a general audience. Please include your contact information on the summary page.

* Summary should be in black and white (no color logos, titles font size 14 Bold Times New Roman, paragraphs font size 12 Times New Roman) and page size should be formatted to fit A4 with 2-2-2-2 cm margins, all documents should be in zipped file named with the following (TBPC ES TEAM NAME) just replace the team name. 

Phase 2
 

The applicants will start e-learning course, from 25^th July 2011 to 10^th August 2011. The e-learning course will be about the business planning, and how to write a business plan. Which will helps you to write your business plan draft.

The e-learning course will cover: Terminology relevant to Business Plan preparation and Guidelines for preparation of Business Plan.

By the end of the course, the applicants should pass exam that will be available online from 6^th -10^th August, and the applicants should upload the business plan draft before 17^th August 2011.

The Judging Committee will Evaluate the Business Plan Drafts that were sent, and the winners will  be able to attend training program that will held in Egypt from 10^th -12^th  September 2011 or the training program will be at Bahrain Kingdom from 18^th -20^th  September 2011 (each applicant will attend the training program that near his residence).

Phase 3

Now, all the competing teams should upload the final business plan for their projects, with the same way the draft uploaded before.

To join us in TBPC’s Virtual Fair, through preparing 3 min. video recorded presentation, and upload it on youtube.com, before 11^th October 2011. The video should be in Arabic or English language.
